Winter Sun in Benvie is an acrylic painting of a Scottish village snow scene.
John found Benvie village an excellent subject for Art Society demonstrations, where there is a need to show an effective painting in less than 2 hours, while giving artistic instruction and entertainment.

John demonstrated his style of creativity by painting a snow scene from a summer photograph and letting artistic licence run wild.
Recent demonstrations were given in Stirling, Milnegavie and Paisley.
