A pineapple picture, a study of a pineapple and other summer fruits was inspiration for this still life painting called "Summer Fruits." It is part of his new project of studies with still life subjects.
The inspiration for this pineapple picture came from John's art class students who paint many still life paintings in a great variety of subjects and with much enthusiasm. Previously John had not painted still life images, but the challenge was too great to ignore.
