Muirhead and Birkhill Road is an acrylic on canvas painting completed in late winter 2005. John was out early with his camera capturing winter landscape images to paint before the snow melted.
He was recording views along the Dighty Burn, and came across this snow scene late morning.
It was a winter landscape scene that just had to be painted.
