Figurative
art shows sensual
poses of a nude model in a dark studio as well
as bedrooms, acrylic paintings of a red haired
nude model, erotic nudes and other poses
of sensual ladies in La Senza night wear
in the Coffee and Cream series.
All
these original paintings of contemporary
art are created in acrylic on canvas, and
watercolour in John's Dundee studio using spotlights,
and directional bands of sunlight on the model
to create strong contrasts and drama which is
a feature of today's modern figurative paintings.
Many
