The
daffodils, Golden Harvest, in this spring flowers, oil
on canvas painting are growing in John's garden in Dundee, in a large
yellow drift underneath his apple trees. He has under planted large areas
of the garden with daffodil bulbs, tulips, crocus, snowdrops, lilies,gladioli
and other spring flower bulbs.
This is one of many flower paintings of spring and summer flowers, painted
by John from those growing in his large Scottish garden packed witha huge
range of trees, shrubs roses,flowers, fruit, tubs, baskets and exotics.
This Daffodil oil painting was used on the front cover of the American
Journal of Nursing March 2004, and is also featured in the International
Artist Book, 100 Ways to Paint Flowers and Gardens.
