painting of an old bridge in the den of Alyth, part of a series of winter landscapes John
undertook of the small town of Alyth in rural Perthshire, Scotland.
Other works, in oil paint, and watercolour paint,featured another old bridge in the
town but this acrylic painting shows Alyth Den woodland after the blizzard has
passed and the sun came out inspiring this image of a classic woodland snow scene.
